The Codex
A downloadable Game Prototype for Windows
The Codex v0.0.1
Prototype Release
A cure for bad nihilism.
The Codex is a minimalist walking simulator inspired by The Library of Babel essay by Jorge Luis Borges. You explore a strange library in search of meaning—interacting with books that offer insight, nonsense, or confusion.
This game is a metaphor for the human struggle to find meaning in the infinite. It invites you to reflect on that search—and whether the journey itself is enough.
This is a prototype. Expect bugs, missing features, and rough edges. It exists as a proof of concept to explore ideas.
